Nigerian Trafficker, Franca Asemota Sentenced To 22 Years In Prison

The United Kingdom’s Isleworth Crown Court on Thursday sentenced a Nigerian woman, Franca Asemota, to 22 years in jail after she was found guilty of attempting to traffic Nigerian girls through Heathrow Airport to work as sex workers in brothels across Europe.
Ms. Asemota, 38, was found guilty on Wednesday of a 12-count charge that includes conspiracy to traffic persons for sexual exploitation, trafficking persons outside of the UK for sexual exploitation, and assisting unlawful immigration.
She was part of a criminal network that trafficked girls, boys and women from Nigeria to Europe using threats to guarantee their compliance.
She spent time in Europe before the National Crime Agency (NCA) tracked her down to Nigeria.
In an operation co-ordinated by the NCA, she was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Benin City in March 2015.
Once her identity was confirmed, Ms. Asemota was extradited back to the UK in January this year.
Ms. Asemota, who was identified as a trafficking suspect in 2012, fled from Italy to Nigeria when some of her co-conspirators were arrested by Immigration Enforcement investigators.
David Davies, CPS London reviewing lawyer, said: “This case demonstrates how the CPS will work with partners, in the UK and overseas, in order to tackle the trafficking gangs who make huge profits from human misery.”
“Franca Asemota played a key role in exploiting the poverty and vulnerability of her victims with the aim of forcing them into prostitution to make money for criminals.

NIGER DELTA MILITANT GROUP ASAWANA REVEALED WHEN THEY WILL BOMB MAJOR BGRIDGES IN NIGERIA

“WE WANTS TO TELL PRESIDENT BUHARI THAT NOW THAT THE GOING IS GETTING TOUGH, THE TOUGH HAS TO GET GOING,”

Niger Delta Militants
The New Deadly force of Niger Delta called Asawana, has revealed the definite date when it would carry out bombing operations in Bonga Field, Onitsha -Asaba Bridge, Third Mainland Bridge, and other major bridges across the southern of the country.

This was contained in a statement issued by its commander, Olomubini Kakarakokoro popularly known as No Mercy.

Olomubini further stated that the only reason the threat will not be carried out is if headquarters of major oil companies are moved to the Niger Delta region.
“We are bombing Bonga field, Onitsha -Asaba bridge, Third Mainland bridge, and other major bridges across the southern of the country, on Saturday 2nd July,2016. He opined

This is not a mere threat. The only way out is for the Federal Government to relocate all headquarters of major oil companies to Niger Delta. They are built with our oil money. They must be moved back to the Niger Delta region.

“If the federal government fails before the said day, we shall surely carry out the attack. The companies which headquarters we want back now include; Chevron,Agip and Shell which has their headquarters in Lagos.”

“In addition, the federal government should move all refineries to the Niger Delta. This is without further delay as we shall meet further delay with corresponding colossal damage in the mentioned places on the said date.

“We wants to tell President Buhari that now that the going is getting tough, the tough has to get going,”
